So most of you probably know that sleep is just so good for you overall. Our bodies are always growing, and sleeping helps to replinish your whole body. It renews your skin, hair and body as a whole. Before we can learn how to sleep better and get healthier sleeping habits, we need to know why we get so sleepy at the nighttime.
Basically, what makes us sleepy during the night time is a chemical called Melatonin, which is produced when it is dark outside. So, the darker your bedroom is when you go to sleep, the better. Basically, here are a few tips to getting to sleep better:
*Sleep with the lights off
*Do not play on your phone or computer on your bed. Your mind needs to know that bed means sleep.
*Use Aromatherapy sleep scents to help you as well.
*Drink warm milk before bed. I like to take my nighttime pills with milk thats been popped in the microwave for about 60 seconds.
*If you dont like complete silence, try a white noise machine. You can also find white noise apps on the Apple App Store. White noise is basically just one sound repeated over and over until you fall asleep. It may seem annoying, but its really not.
